Default No download folder on my Curve 8330

Please Login to Remove!

Help. I just got my Curve activated yesterday and went through the Desktop setup. My next step was to download Google Sync for my calendar and contacts. It went through the process fine, but then what? I figured out there should be a download folder to complete the process, but there is no download folder. No icon, nada. My husband's BB Storm has one, so I know what to look for, but does't appear on mine. From reading posts at this forum, I'm thinking it can be fixed using Desktop Manager. What do I do?

Welcome to the forums.

The 8330 does not have a Downloads folder. Devices running 4.6 and up do. The 8330 runs on 4.3 or 4.5. The application should show on your home screen. You may need to do a battery pull for it to show. If you go into Options > Advanced Options > Applications, do you see Google Sync listed?
