Default 7520 and speed dial. how to make DC a speed dial

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to make direct connect numbers a speed dial? Are there such things as programable short cut keys on the 7520's?

My old motorola had those. Menu + a number would give you a shortcut to anything. I had my Direct Connects there. People who I talk with at work about 20 times a day at least!

The speed dial only seems to give you the option of the telephone numbers. That's it.

Sorry If I mention the obvious: DC speed dials are already available with the people you work with (on the same bill). Look at the screen when somone DC's you. The last digits of the DC number is his "speed dial" number.
To operate: From home screen, press space bar to open phone menu, press the speed dial number and DC them (or alert them with thumbwheel click). If they are out of your network, you are out of luck.

Yeah, I was hoping I could program them into the one-touch speed dial. For example, hold down R until "Rob" comes up.. then alert him.

No such Luck.

Thanks,
