| I thought there was proximity sensing for the new BBM. Does that feature only works for OS 5.0? I'm on OS 4.6.1.250. | | Offline

| looks really great but sending files (at least pics havent tried something else out yet) takes for eveeeer they really have to fix that. before the new one i didnt even have a progress bar, now it has but it takes ages before it starts sending and the act of sending takes for ever as well... really sucks i used to share a lot of pics with a friend and now it takes that long
and by the way..why did they take away the possibility to just view the pic? now i can only safe them | | Offline

-zip | I can send, but not receive. Based on some testing, I think it might be because I have content protection enabled. Can anyone confirm if they're able to receive pics/files with content protection enabled, or confirm they're having the same problem?
Thanks,

| Not sure about the first, but the second options shows the following for me:
Location: Shows a US flag
Time Zone: Eastern Time (-5)
When a friend looks at my contact info in BBM, they see the following:
Time Zone: Eastern Time (-5)
Local Time: 4:33 PM
Works out well for speaking with others from different time zones so I know before I chat what time it is for them.

| is there anyway to show the picture without saving it first. it wont save the picture properly so i can not see it.
this is a HUGE issue.
its odd, if either party does not have 5.0 it has the option to view, but if both have 5.0, you must save it.

| Calendar issue When I upgraded, it switched the default calendar to BBM Groups, and now I can't sync my outlook. There is no CICAL entry for BBM in the Service books either. I tried moving all my calendar entries to the BBM Groups calendar, and then syncing with no luck.
Anyone else have this issue? If so, how do I fix it? | | Offline

| Contact Status Is there a way to tell if a contact is busy or on the phone or reading your message or writing back to you? You could do this in 4.7 and I don't see it in 5.0. In 4.7 this was in addition to the official status that youy manually change. | | Offline
