I'm having trouble with the installation of the Blackberry User Tools
This tool installs also the "Roxio media manager"
when the roxio media manager starts to install, i get an error message:
"Please pass the correct path to the certificate file"

any idea how i can resolve this issue?

thanks,

I usually download BlackBerry Desktop Manager directly from RIM's web site. You get the latest/updated version and you don't need to fool with those install CD's. I also avoid the versions with Roxio as it causes more problems than it solves.

As per the advice above, unless you particularly want Roxio Media Manager don't install it because it can be a complete pain in the rear and cause your computer to take ages to boot up.

When installing Desktop Manager either from a downloaded file or from disc you will be given the option for normal or custom install.Choose custom and then select not to install Roxio Media Manager, hopefully this will cure your installation problem.
