Hi all...

I have just upgraded 2 an 8330. The phone is on vers 4.5 & so far everything works. I searched 4 this topic but mostly found topics 4 people who already had facebook going.

I downloaded the fb app via the fb 2 bb site & installed it. However, it just will not connect 2 fb.

Has anyone else had this issue or know y & what I need 2 do 2 get it 2 work?

Help is appreciated.

Yes, I do have a data plan. I am actually posting from my phone. I'm somewhat versed in cells & how they work & sometimes y they won't work. But not this little guy...

is it a BLACKBERRY data plan?
FB wil only work with the specific Blackberry data plan.

this is why i asked, because your profile says your on cricket, and I dont believe they have Blackberry data plans.

Without a BlackBerry data plan you would have to use a third-party browser like Opera Mini and connect via the web page for FB.
