Default Camera resolution on BB? confused?

Can anyone help me to understand camera resolutions on BB?

is it the bigger the number the better the photo quality? or the smaller the number the sharper the image?

Please help. Very confused with all of this

There's Picture Size (small, medium, large) and Picture Quality (normal, fine, superfine). You have to balance Picture Quality with things like available light, motion, etc. Higher quality needs more light and less movement. Picture Size is just that- - how large an image you want.

The short and simple answer: the higher the megapixel number, the better the image.

It's just like any other digital camera. More pixels = more resolution. Picture quality is determined by much more than just the number of pixels though.

I have a 0.3MP (yes, 1/3MP) video camera that can take better photos many phone cameras -- especially under low light conditions.
