Exclamation "ActiveSync" for the Blacberry?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I'm a recent convert from an SMT5600 windows smartphone. with the smartphone, if i made a change in outlook, my data was INSTANTLY synced with my phone rather than having to press a "sync" button.

With the blackberry,i have it setup so it will sync every time upon connect, however, if i make a change within outlook WHILE the bb is connected, it will not reflect on the bb unless I press the sync button again.

Is there a way to make it act more like a windows smartphone when it comes to syncing?

Lightbulb hosted BES or redirector?

As far as i know, the only way to have "real-time" updates to outlook is through a BES or desktop redirector. there are two types, corporate BES and hosted BES. there's a whole thread dedicated to hosted BES. i'm not too familiar with desktop redirector so you'll have to do a search on that one. as far as the hosted BES, go here.....
The Hosted BES FAQ - Cheap BES/MDS - Wireless Outlook sync!

and you can go here for many of your other bb questions, or you might find things here that spark questions you didn't even know you had....hehe
BIG FAQ! Software, Upgrade, Ringtones, Themes, Internet, IM, Modem, Tips+Tricks, Etc
