Default My lovely new Cruve is locked down

Please Login to Remove!

As the thread title suggests......received my new, long awaited Curve on Friday (workphone) and have discovered that our IT department have locked the phone down.

When i try and install any apps etc i get a message stating that the IT policy for ***** Plc does not allow this.

My question is how, if possible, can I get round this?

There is no way around the IT Policy that has been put on your device. You could try talking to your company's BES Admin and find out if they will put another IT Policy on your device that allows downloading applications.

Other then that....you're out of luck.

Not a good idea to try to go around a company IT Policy. Many regard that as prelude to termination.

The policy is there for a reason and since they are paying the freight, they can do whatever they wish.
