Just looking for a bit of advice !
I upgraded to the latest version of BBM and its working fine - all I want to know is....

Is there meant to be a sound alert for the recent updates part?
I get the red star to tell me that there is a recent update but no noise?
I have checked the BBM alert in profiles and have set it to same as the BBM new message but nada...

is there meant to be one?

Yes, there is audio. Try a hard reset (battery pull and then replace) try again.
