Hi guys, I need some urgent assistance. I would like to backup my current data on my existing BB and transfer to another BB in a week. I will not have both available at the same time. I have backed up all my data with Desktop Manager. Can I simply connect the new BB (which may not be a Curve) in a week and download all the data (including contacts, messages, etc). Thanks in advance for your help.

I think you can. When you get the new BB just use the Backup/Restore option in BB DM and transfer the files from your old BB over to the new one.

You may. You can also sync your PIM info to a product such as outlook if you have as an extra measure for that info. Nonetheless, the answer to your question is yes.
