Default Deleting from Outlook doesn't delete from Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

So I have a Hosted BES from ExchangeMyMail, and whenever I delete an item using Outlook, or Outlook Web Access, it doesn't delete it from the Blackberry.

My Email Reconciliation is set to:
Delete On: Mailbox & Handheld
Wireless Reconcile: On
On Conflicts: Mailbox Wins

It doesn't dissapear when I hit Reconcile Now either.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Do your other features (calendar, tasks, etc) reconcile properly?

I would call your hosting service...I've never experienced this problem.

Try turning Wireless reconcile Off, save the change, then go back in and turn it on again. Sometimes it just needs to be toggled to work properly.

As a follow up, has it ever worked?

It started working this morning, just, randomly. Everything is working as it should be.

Is there a way so that the Blackberry will reconcile with the BES whenever a change is made, instead of having to manually hit the Reconcile Now button whenever I want it to do so.

Normally a Blackberry will automatically reconcile everything, just not immediately. It should do it within 30 minutes on its own. One instance where I have seen a problem is when a user had Outlook set to empty the trash on exit. If the message isn't in the trash in Outlook/Exchange, the Blackberry won't delete on the unit.

Thanks for the information! That would explain my problems earlier with it not being deleted from the Blackberry.

Is there a way of getting around the 30 minute lag for the reconcile? That seems to go against the concept of the Blackberry.

It really shouldn't take that long, it usually takes between 3-5 minutes on java devices or 10-15 on C++. I think the reason is that this is really considered low priority. It's more important for new e-mails to get sent to handhelds. It also automatically reconciles when the number of unreconciled items hits 100.
