Default My first blackberry :)

Hello there, im new to the forum and new to blackberrys, so i just wanted some general info. Ive just bought a new curve 8900 on tmobile (o2 sim though) which i will get unlocked tomorrow. I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips and tricks for it and what software to download on it, e.g. media players... applications...

there arent any different media players.
the one on the phone is all you get.

Also all the information you may need can be found by searching the forum and using BBFAQ at the top of the forum.

Yeh but can i just get the music off my windows media player to put it onto the blackberry or do i need specific software ?

you need the Desktop Manager with media manager.

Have you looked at General 8900 Series Discussion - Javelin - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community at all? There's also an Aftermarket Software forum.

This entire site is full of tips and tricks. You just need to do some reading. If you're looking for a specific app feel free to ask. Asking for a general apps recommendation is pretty pointless IMO. What are you looking to do with your BB?
