Default Losing emails

Please Login to Remove!

I work for a company that rents out space to an employee of another company. I was asked to help this other employee with her tech needs and she has a Blackberry 8310 Edge phone.

She has three email accounts that she receives emails from (her company's email list, her AOL account, our company's email list)

She has three icons for each email and one icon as a repository for all of them.

Today, she showed me that all of her old emails have been deleted except for today's email.

As far as I am aware, she is not synced with her accounts to where if she deletes email from her accounts that it is then synced with her blackberry.

I checked her memory and it shows the following:

File Free: 3955166 Bytes 3.7M
File Total: 58064896 Bytes 55.3M

Is this just a low memory problem?

I am not really sure what else to troubleshoot?

Any advice would be appreciated.

If she deletes messages from the main messages folder, they will be deleted from the individual folders. Sounds like that is what might be happening.

All email flows to the Messages folder and also to individual folders for each account. Thi sis how the BB works and can't really be changed.

3.7mb free space is VERY low. A proven cause of e-mails deleting.

Minimum safe free memory is ~12 MB. A battery pull whenever she sees free memory getting near this level should straighten things out. Also make sure she has a media card for pictures/music/ringtones.
