Default BBM - Expiring Photos

Please Login to Remove!

After upgrading to BBM 5.0 it seems photos sent are handled differently. Previously, photos sent used to be just like normal messages - and you could then view it. Now, it sends a file transfer request - which expires after 30 mins or so...Any way to get it back to the previous way - other than the obvious of rolling back to the previous version?

Another issue is if the photo is a larger than say 100k - it takes a very long time for the file transfer to complete (even on wifi or 3G)

P.S. I know why it does so - its because of the new BBM having enabled the Large File Transfer feature. But my question is that is it possible to use the old functionality for smaller files?

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

I don't believe you can use the old functionality without rolling back to older BBM version
