Select all Unread & Mark Read
 

OK, I give up. I'm a long time bb user, but have had an ongoing frustration someone here may be able to help with.

I have more than 1,000 messages on my blackberry that I need to select and flag as read.

I know how to jump to last unread and then hold the alt key and scroll up, thus highlighting all messages. Then, I access the menu to mark all selected as "read".

Is there a faster way to select all unread messages? I can search for them easily, but how to select them all is my question.

If your main goal is to mark them all as read, you can press T, press the menu key and select Mark Prior Opened.
