I am going to get a BB. Here is the question .... Get the Storm 2 or Get the BB Tour.?'

I have no problem waiting.

I am with Verizon for a carrier and I have to stay with them for almost 2 more years as my wife has a contract.
I'm not in one.

Thank you for reading and replying if you have an opinion.

the Tour is nice phone. I hated the first Storm, so I am interested in how well they have "fixed" it. but i wouldn't consider a Storm 2 until I've had a chance to play with it a bit.

so I'd vote wait-until you can try a Storm2 well enough to know if you like it.

I'm playing that same game. Like the tour for the buttons (actual keyboard), dont like the little display, also don't like the trackball (its all over the place and many crap out). Like the wi-fi on the 9550 but not the small app space. Tried a 9530 and could not type a word on it. Since I do a lot of text and mail then the keyboard means a lot. Neither is good in that department. Not sure why they dont offer a drop down keyboard.
I would try both and then compare. The issue is you pay a premium for BB ($29.95 month over normal) and you don't really get all of the premium features found in some other phones. I am hoping that LG or BB gets a little more serious about there devices. By now one of them should be able to exceed the iPhone.

If you are willing then wait and test out both phones.
