After manually adding phone numbers to my Outlook Addressbook, and saving it, I used Desktop Manager to synch. I left the (suggested) default let "Windows decide" and it found some old Addressbook that hasn't been active for ayear. I now have duplicates of most entries, some updated, some from last year, and some just the name. WTH? I am now about to MANUALLY delete the duplicates from my BB (Tour). How can I avoid this if I am ever stupid enough to do a sync again?

I have been playing with the Sync options and deleting and adding addresses to see if I could duplicate your issue. So far no luck.You say it found old address books. Outlook may not realize the old list is old. Try renaming the extension and see if that works. Outlook should then only have one address book

Tried to sync my windows calendar and keep getting sync fault Ox80040057. Is there anyone out there that can help. Cant believe how difficult it is these days to get some one to offer some advice Micda.
