Unhappy I deleted "Download" folder by accident!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I accidentally deleted my download folder!!

I want to get it back, but preferably without downloading the whole software and replacing it.

I am a newbie to blackberry so if you could explain it like you would to a child (well.. not literally!) I would appreciate it.

My phone is 8520.

Thank you so much!

On your homescreen, press Menu > Add folder.

Name it Downloads.

I am not sure what OS the 8520 runs, but in my brief foray into OS 5.0, I noticed that one could specify which folder downloads should go into (default is Downloads, of course). I don't have this option on my Bold running OS 4.6.0.303 but maybe that option is available in 4.6.1+, 4.7+ or 5.0+?

8520 is running on 4.6.1.
I think the feature you mention is an OS 5 thing.
