On my 8310 whenever i am trying to get ringtones from a friend, i am not getting the Receive Using Bluetooth option? Is there something wrong with the settings?

You need to pair the devices first.

Then go into Media > Ringtones (or Pictures, etc.) and use the Menu key to select "receive using bluetooth".

Pain in the butt, but it's a security thing.

Are you on BES or BIS. Missing options often points to an IT Policy locking down the device. If that's not the case, and a battery pull doesn't help restore that option, then re-loading the OS with Desktop Manager might be the next step.
