Default Which Data Plan????

Please Login to Remove!

I was hoping you all can help me with my slight dilemma. I will be leaving for Brazil this coming thursday and I would like to take my BB 8700C with me. I contacted Cingular's Customer Care Svc hoping that they will be able to unlock my BB. I dont think they will be able to unlock my phone for me in time. I have the unlimited data plan. What other plan will I need to add on for me to be able to use my phone in Brazil. I will only use my BB for the following purposes:

1. Send/Receive Email
2. Send/Receive SMS

I dont think i will be using it as phone often. Perhaps for emergencies only. If however my phone rings and it goes to my voicemail, will i get charge for this?

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

As far as getting charged for a voicemail, I don't think you will charged for it unless you retrieve from the phone. To answer your other questions, I think you could incur data/sms charges becuase you will not be in your home area, unless your provided has told you different. I know a lot of unlimited email/data plans don't apply when you leave the states. You need to get the fine print details from your provided.
