Its unique to each handset, there is no transferring.
the PIN is blocked when a device is reported lost or stolen.

I went to the Tmobile shop, but they tell me one thing and others tell me something else.

Could you tell me, on tmobile can you use BB messenger? Pay as you go?

PAYG, no. not on t-mobile.
Only Orange UK offer blackberry data plans on PAYG.
You can BUY the Pearl Blackberry T-mobile are offering on PAYG with Blackberry services, but you can't walk in and get Blackberry services on a PAYG sim card.

For contracts with T-mobile it works out roughly (vat etc) £5 per month on any contract, if bought with a contract. Adding to an existing contract, or a contract at a later date is roughly £7.50 a month.

Say i want to get a £10 a month tmobile solo sim contract, how much will it be on top of that to get a data plan for my BB, and can i use any blackberry phone? Has it gone up from £5 per month to £7.50 ?

T-mobile is a bit different.
Email data comes from the Blackberry email booster (which you need to make the blackberry work). Internet browsing and data for apps, comes from the web n walk plan.
You cant just have a web n walk plan with a blackberry.

I have considered going to a solo plan, so know all about them.

To get Blackberry email booster, and "internet on your phone" you chose a solo 10 (£10) a month, on the next page, you choose under blackberry (online of course) and chose "Blackberry email and internet booster" will be £12.50 on top of the £10 = 22.50 a month.

And yes, you can use any blackberry phone. Its always better to go for ones that t-mobile sells therefore there is no issue when it stops working and you need to call support.
