Default Sync Old to New Blackberry

When I get my new Tour, how do I get the data from my old Pearl? Is it as simple as synching the Pearl for the last time, then connecting to Desktop Manager with the new phone and sync from Computer to Phone? Is there an issue given the OS will be newer?

I thought I would find this on the forum, but wasn't sure how to search for it and didn't see anything on it using key words "sync old new blackberry."

You could do that. Sync the old to Outlook and then sync the new to Outlook.

Or you could use the Switch Device wizard.

Amazing how I never even realized that was a DM option! That's an even easier method than having to be where I am connected to Outlook on our server. Thanks.
