Default How do I set deafult outgoing service?

Please Login to Remove!

I have one email account on a BES and 3 others on BWC. When composing an email on my blackberry, i have to manually change the "sent using desktop or sent using web client" field every time. There's a setting for "default" but that seems to use a different service depending on the contact.

Doeas anyone know how i can set this to default to using BWC for outgoing? Or does anyone know how it determines what service to use for a particular contact?

Thanks!

p.s. i'm on an 8700 using os4.1 via cingular.

I'm bumping this as I'm looking for the answer to the same question. Perhaps it can't be done...

Go into Options / Advanced Options / Messages Services

You can change the default account used there.

The account used will changed based on the last one used for a particular contact.

Thanks, NJ -

That was easy once you knew where to look...

Just for good measure, I had the "From" address on my BES/Exchange set to my Gmail address as well in case I accidentally send a message from there. I'm more interested in BES for the calendar piece since I already have a pretty smooth system for e-mail.
