So I screwed up today and accidentally wiped my phone. Sucky, but I figured I'd just reinstall everything fresh. Would be irritating, but oh well. So I started downloading things again specifically Yahoo and Google messenger, which were apparently updated since I bought my phone a few months ago. I HATE the new look of them. I want the old versions back. Where can I go to download those previous versions?

Could a restore from a backup file work? Only downside is that I'm not sure if I have a backup file for this phone yet (only got it in Aug, so not sure I've had a reason to create the file yet).

Ok, well, got my address book back, but no downgrade to the earlier Yahoo.

I checked my b/fs phone though (he has a Flip 8230) and he still has the earlier version. Is there a way to copy the files off of his phone and install them through Desktop Manager for my phone (Curve 8330)?

Ok, well someone helped me out with GTalk, they had the installer files for 2.1 for me to be able to reinstall that one, but I'm still working on Yahoo. Anyone have any ideas anymore?
