Question Turning OFF threaded texting??

Please Login to Remove!

I know this goes against most of what I read, but is there a way to turn OFF threaded texting on the storm 2? Like being able to see all of what I type before I send it, and I already know what the other person replied. Thanks in advance!

I can see what I am texting thanks. But often, I do text more than the 2 sentences visible in the thread box. Like to proof before I reply most of the time. So is there a way to do the old style (pearl/curve) texting?

I would like to turn it off too, but I don't see a way to do it. Most of my text messages are not conversations with people, rather they're notifications of News feeds, Google Calendar notifications,Twitter posts, and Facebook posts. Having everyone's Twitter posts in one sms thread is not the best way to view them. I also like to keep calendar notifications marked as unread so I can find them easily. I can't mark anything unread with the new threaded SMS.

Have you tried Viigo and a client like Socialscope for the news and Twitter/Facebook updates?
I turned off all text notifications and use Viigo and Socialscope to manage my news and updates. Socialscope has a notification in Profiles, so I know when Twitter and Facebook updates.

Yes, I've tried all of those-they don't work for me. I use Google Reader, which Viigo doesn't sync with. I use text messages to receive local and CNN breaking news, in between the times when I check Reader. I can post and reply to Facebook and Twitter with text messages and it's much faster than loading the applications, and less stressful on the battery than leaving them loaded all the time. It's just my preference. I changed my Google Calendar notifications to email, so I can still keep them unread when I need to.
