I am currently on BES and synchronize wirelessly without a hitch with my office/employer.

My question: I would like to sync my BB to my personal laptop and Outlook as well through the Desktop Manager.

Ninety percent of my contacts and address are personal and would like to maintaing both my professional and personal calendars.

Can BES and BIS work concurrently? Is desktop synching possible while also operating on BES?

You can't do what you want to do.
You'd need to disable your wireless calendar sync in order to sync using Desktop Manager.

If you decided to do that, once you turned wireless calendar sync back on, it would combine all of your personal calendar items with your corporate calendar items.

Is this something I can do via my device? If so, any help?

Or is this a setting that needs to be changed on the BES (...by our tech guy)?
