Default App to monitor BBY on PC desktop...?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any software that allows you to monitor your BlackBerry from your PC desktop? I've been looking for something to do this for a while and haven't been able to find anything that fits the bill.

Let me explain my situation in a little more detail...

My home office is based in my cellar (basement) and the mobile network reception is intermittent and weak if and when it does connect. The reception in my living room is acceptable and I have occasionally been able to leave my BBY in the living room and use a Bluetooth headset down in the cellar to take calls (and make using voice dialling) without too much difficulty.

The problem with this set up is that I can't see who's calling me and I can't read any text messages that come in, both of which I'd like to be able to do from my PC in my office.

What I'm hoping for is some software that pairs the BBY with my PC over Bluetooth and then pops up a message on my desktop if someone calls or I receive a SMS. If I could then also use my PC as the headset that would be the icing on the cake!

So, does anyone know of anything that might work like this? I know it's a long shot but thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone's got any good suggestions!

Many thanks in advance,

Thinqer.

Default

Quick update, in case it's any use...

Have just found out about an app called Elertify that seems to do most of what I want except that it connects to the BBY via USB, not BlueTooth...

Does anyone know the developers of the app? Could maybe put in a feature request...

Cheers,

Thinqer
