I have found many threads on this topic, but they (at least, the ones with solutions) seem to involve syncing or memory.

My calendar entries are being deleted on my 9530 (v4.7.0.148).

I do NOT sync with my computer (or connect to it for any other purposes, whatever they might be).

My device memory (free space) is 878 MB
My application memory (after battery removal) is 26.6 MB.
(I'm not sure whether people are referring to device or application memory when discussing low memory that causes deleting items.)

I do not have excessive entries. I would guess that it was no more than 50.

I have "keep appointments" set to "forever" (and have always had that setting).

I have it set to show all calendars.

Entries are deleted during normal usage, NOT when doing an update (unless some auto update is going on that I'm not aware of).

This has happened more than once.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

Are these entries backed up anywhere on the device? Or are they possibly still there somewhere, just not "visible" to the calendar? (So is there a file I can browse, or access if I do connect it to my computer?)

OR, can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive calendar program that DOES work? (I was using AgendaFusion on my Dell Axim, and found that acceptable.)

App memory.

You should use Desktop Manager to backup the device.
This would backup those calendar entries.

As for why they are being deleted, i'm not sure.
