Default Remove firewall policy in BES

Please Login to Remove!

Actually, I use the Blackberry Professional Edition. I looked at the IT policy several times, line by line, but I couldn't find any option to disable or modify the firewall settings on my Storm2. Right now, the firewall button on the device is enabled and has the lock symbol. A couple of my apps are having difficulties running. What would you suggest? Thanks in advance.

Are you using a company device? If so, it isn't a good idea to try to work around their security policies.

Yes, I'm using a company device. However, I own the company. I'm just experimenting with some apps I created. And the apps work when firewall is not enabled.
