Default Browser Question - Returned page had no content type

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I am new to the BB Curve 8330 and new to this forum. I need help with a browser question. When I go to the browser, I immediately get a screen that reads "The returned page had no content type, and therefore cannot be processed." I hit OK and then get a white screen with the word Blackberry across it. What do I have set wrong in my Curve? Thanks for any advice to a newbie.

Can you send and receive email? Check your coverage is the first thing I would do..

Check in your browser options what the start page is set to.

Browser > Menu key > Options > Browser Configuration, scroll down to Start Page and post what it says and the options shown.

Under Start Page it reads Home Page. I have a choice of Bookmarks Page, Home Page, Last Page Loaded or Start Page.

In the browser, press Menu and then Go To, put in a site like google.com and press Enter. Does it go to Google?

Yes, when I use GO TO, it works fine.

Now today, I'm not getting the problem message. Maybe it healed itself.
