Default Syncing with Outlook changes my device time

Please Login to Remove!

Can someone please help... I have Windows XP and use Outlook 2007.
Yesterday I updated Blackberry Desktop Manager to v5.0.1 which I use to connect with my Pearl 8110 EDGE which I also updated the software on yesterday to v4.5.0.81 (Platform 2.7.0.78).
Once I resolved the problems created by having 3 calendars I noticed that when I sync my blackberry it's time changes back to Perth +8 which is where I live but the time is wrong. I think Blackberry believe we have daylight saving but we don't and so the time after syncing is 1 hour behind and changes all my calendar appointments. I tried saving a time zone 1 hour ahead (ie + 9) but upon syncing the device time still reverts back to 1 hour behind Perth + 8.

Go under the synchronization settings and uncheck the box to update the date and time.

Thanks Mama... that has overcome the problem with syncing. Disappointing Blackberry can't get time correct on their system.

Not sure what the last part of your post means. When that check box is checked, then the time comes from your computer not from "BlackBerry", so the problem would be with the computer rather than with the BlackBerry software.

I cannot seem o update to the Blackberry Desktop Manager to v5.0.1.
Keeps coming back with an error
