Default How do I stop DM from updating device software?

Please Login to Remove!

DM 4.7
8310 4.5 with Blackberry Maps from 4.2 (loaded with App Loader)

I've uninstalled device software on the PC. DM installation has "Blackberry Automatic Update" unchecked.

Yet, each time DM starts, it will check for device software and prompt me for Blackberry Maps software update. If I choose to continue, it will scan the device and tell me that the software on the device is newer. However, this won't stop it from doing the same next time.

How can fix this problem?

Thanks!

Default

I've found the following:

if I delete/rename pool in the App Loader folder, then DM won't ask me to update.

Don't know if this has impact when you really want to update. The file is quite small.
