Hey guys,

Do any of you know about blackberryoffer.com? Is it real? On another forum people were saying it actually worked. I guess it's a raffle and they do give some away? anyone know?

No clue, get a decent used 8310 and port it. Or an 8330, now that I think about it. Need to try one, wifi would be nice too.

What about it? Until someone markets a netbook with full voice capabilities, these are all stop-gap solutions to me. BB's, Iphones, etc. 8330 will do everything I need it to do, it's cheap, and, I can port it for T-mo, and *not* get screwed in the process. I really like that last benefit. Its a question of hardware and technology that I can access and use.

BTW, I don't have 3G where I live, and, there are no current plans for Tmo to implement it, so that is an irrelevant option.

What do you mean you can port it to T-Mobile. If you mean you can port your number from your 8330 to T-Mobile, sure can. However, you can NOT use the 8330 on T-Mobile's network. It will not operate on GSM frequencies as it is strictly a CDMA device.

The 8330 will not work with T-Mobile. It will only work for a CDMA carrier such as Sprint or Verizon.
