Default Filtering emails recieved by my BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

A BB newbie, have set up my BB to my hotmail account but have had to delete this account becuase I was recieving every single email that comes through which is something I dont want. Is there a way of setting a filter so that only specified email addresses actually come through to my BB?

Thanks in advance

Kyle

There are filters available on the web page where you set up your account. Re-configure your account then click on the filter icon for that account (located on the right hand side of the page).

Log in to your carrier's BIS page from a computer and set up the filters there.

I spent some time configuring my hotmail account to allow through only emails from my hotmail address book. Everything else goes into Junk Mail. The good news is that only my inbox gets forwarded to my BlackBerry. The bad news is that I have to periodically check my junk messages for something I want to let through, then add that sender to my safe list. Not good for time-critical business email, but fine for consumer stuff like confirms and receipts from online retailers.
