Default Blackberry Messenger 5.0

As of today, my friend said that his blackberry messenger just stopped working. It's there, but it just won't open. I advised him to remove it, redownload and reinstall. He followed but he still can't open it. Several battery pulls were made.

It's a 8700g. He also mentioned that it was happening to a co-worker of his.

I am not really so surprised that an old device as the 8700 is having issues running BBM v5
