1. does BB have a software that allows me to sync with my PC and open and use the data on my PC like my treo had?
2. is it true that BB is going to go to a full "thread" text log on SMS texting - similar to the thread thats created by BB to BB messaging?
3. is it true that using the BB to BB messaging while traveling internationally is a NO charge feature?

Not exactly.
yes, with OS 5, but some BB's won't get it.
Its data. If your roaming, you will incur high data charges.
A international blackberry data plan is usually the best way to go.

1. You can sync your BlackBerry with Outlook or using Google Sync.
2. Yes. It's in Beta right now for the Tour but should be officially released soon.

blackberry's desktop manager can load OS's (i.e.update the phone), backup, restore backup, sync with outlook, etc.
But it doesnt work like the software you are used to.
