Post My number on dial screen

Does anyone know if the "My Number" on the dial screen can be changed please? I have bought this Storm 9530 from a guy in USA, unlocked it but it stills shows his old number in the "My Number" on the dial screen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

On your device, dial ##000000, press send and enter your number and save.

Does that do it?

Default no go for me
Guys it didn´t work for me. When I entered 5 0s it said invalid msl password. When I entered 6 0s the error message said invalid password. Any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.
