I bought a used blackberry device. I have configured the same for me to use my email, but my prob is Im still gettin the last users current email notifications or at least some of the junk stuff in my messages icon. I have tried wiping the BB with the assistance of a tech person of my carrier but the prob still persist.

Can anyone give clue to how to eliminate this prob..

Just to confirm, you have your email set up in BIS?

What exactly are you getting - is it email, IMs, or something else?

Prior owner needs to have his carrier kill the BIS account associated with the BB. Wiping the device, as you have discovered, won't make a difference as long as that BIS account remains active and associated with your BB.
