Talking 7320 - conference call login

Please Login to Remove!

Is it possible to login with one key rather than a password?

I was told no - this is because it's a policy thatís been configured across all Blackberry devices.

I want to set up a conference call number on my Blackberry so I can just press a number and it logs me straight on to it. Is that possible?

All help appreciated.

If I understand what you are asking, you want to be able to dial a phone number and have it then log you in to a conference call. I have a similar situation where I need to enter a PIN after dialing a toll-free number to log into a conference call. What I have setup on my BB is a phone number that has the following syntax:
Quote:
phone_number!PIN#
The exclamation mark separates the phone number from the PIN. I need to also have the # symbol at the end because that is what the conference call system requires at the end of the PIN. Since I could not find a way to enter the exclamation mark in my Address Book, I emailed myself the conference phone number and PIN in this format. When you dial this number, it dials the phone number first then pops up a dialog asking if it should dial the "extension" now, I wait until the conference system answers then click the trackwheel to have it dial the extension.

Default

When I was in Texas to help out with Katrina, I had a conference call every day at 17:30 I had to log in to. I had it set up with a speed dial that logged me in automatically. All I did was make an addition to my contacts and for the phone number. I put in area code, phone number, 3 pauses, the conference pin number and the # sign. I then assigned C (for conference call) as the speed dial. Click and hold C and I dialed and logged into the conference call automatically. To add the pauses, all you need to do is put in the phone number then click your trackwheel .. .scroll down and there will be an option to Add Pause. It will show up as a p in the number. Make sure you select add pause and not add wait. Add wait will wait for input from you, pause adds a 1 second pause and then continues.

Hope this is what you're looking for!
