Default MS Exchange password

Please Login to Remove!

Our agency uses MS Exchange 2003 for all email. The agency director has recently gotten a Blackberry Curve 8330 which is setup to sync with Exchange. Our network is setup to require password changes periodically. My question is "Will his blackberry automatically recognize the password change or will he need to make a change on the blackberry everytime his network/exchange password changes?" Thanks in advance for your help.

There is no direct correlation between the network/exchange password and the BlackBerry device.
If the network/exchange password is changed, nothing needs to be done on the device.

If the device itself requires a password, then it follows the rules set forth by your BES IT Policy, if such controls are in place.

How, exactly, is it syncing with Exchange? Do you have a BlackBerry Enterprise Server that his device is activated on, or did he set up his email via a BIS website (where he had to enter his exchange password)?

For the former the password isn't an issue. For the latter the password will need to be updated in BIS each time it changes.
