Sure. Just turn off the wireless radio. No email, no messenger. Just calendar, phone book, calculator, etc.

Options > Manage Connections > Turn Off All Connections.

You'd need to do so via your carrier.

Some carriers used to have a data only plan with no voice, but most have discontinued it except for business customers.

You would need to check with your carrier and see if that offer such a plan.

Many thanks to all for responses, but probably my problem is not so clear... I don't want a carrier plan with no voice. What i mean is simply a function on the BB for temporarily disable incoming phone calls, but operate with email at the same time. Than, when i decide, turnon phone calls. This is usefull for 2 aspects: 1) work without interruption 2) My customer think that i'm not reachable in that moment.

Set up a profile that silences the ringer and the vibrate for phone calls. Then, select the profile when you want to avoid phone calls, and select a normal profile when you want to take phone calls.

ATT offers a data only plan, I have that on my Bold. The phone still works and you will get charged per minute if you use the phone. But if you only use the BB for data only, this is the way to go. Its about $30 a month.

You might be able to ask your carrier to put a block on voice calls. If you would call with the block, it would redirect you to their customer service department.

We have this setup on some of our lines with Verizon. I don't know if that's only for business accounts or not.

This doesn't solve the OP's issue, but just throwing it out there as it may help Argon.

Or you could just ignore the call if and when it comes in and just let the call go to voice mail. Nothing says you have to answer when someone calls.
