Hi i need some advice from people that know, rather than a sale person who hasn't a clue . I have been given a 8700g which was on 02 but has now been unlocked. I am at the moment using a 8120 Pearl on Orange, so my question is can i just swap my sim from the 8120 and add it to the 8700 and still receive my email's etc? If not what are the implications?

The SIM move, is the first step.
When the SIM is inserted to the new device, it should recognize the new device and ask you to confirm the new BlackBerry/PIN. If not, then you will want to login in to your Orange BIS account and change the PIN to the new device.

That is, assuming that the 8700g isn't already associated with a BIS account. If it is, that BIS account will need to be deleted.

And/Or, if you're on BES you'll need to go through Enterprise Activation.

Sorry for the ignorance but how do i do those things?, It was all set up and running for me when i brought it.

Hi i have logged in and tried to change the PIN & IMEI numbers to the other handset i wish to use, however every time i try to save i get a message saying The information you have provided is not valid for this service provider.
Any further idea?
