Default Problem installing BB OS to computer

Please Login to Remove!

There's talks of installing the BB OS to the computer and I'm having some difficulties doing that for my BB Tour. I removed the default wallpapers and ringers directly off my BlackBerry and upgraded BBM to 5.0 so now whenever I plug my device to the computer I'm asked to update the "Core applications". Is there any way to get rid of this so that I can proceed to installing the OS to the computer?

After you downloaded the OS EXE file, did you RUN it on your computer so that it was installed on your computer?

Did you try using the App Loader instead of updating through BlackBerry Desktop Manager?

Thanks for the response! I ran the EXE again without BDM running and this time it went through without trying to update my device!
