I found this surprising that the blackberry's are nearly %40 of the top cell phones in the US with the highest SAR levels(Blog: Suprise Storm has much less SAR levels than the Blackberry Curve)

the Storm 2 at .78 and BB curve at 1.51... Why are the SAR levels so high? They nearly reach the maximum allowed by the FCC at 1.6..???

I prefer the keyboard(shortcuts) but will take another long look at the Storm 2.

A bluetooth headset or a wired headset make these SAR studies moot, no?

I wonder if the Bluetooth radio has ever been checked? Having that thing in your ear has to be a problem. I realize it may have a lower transmitter power but it's still a radio.

according to RIM's safety manual

there're precautions to take but still the SAR level's are abnormally high.. haven't most of the phones in the top 10 of the the 20 phones in the US with the highest SAR levels isn't a good sign...

they did well with the storm.. not sure what the difference is... maybe materials for the screen
