I have recently restored my curve to fac settings.
I want to set up my email again but i cannot as im trying to log into my account to do this on the phone and i have forgotton the username and password i used to set up this security soyou could just change it...DOH!

help who do i call to get this info...

any help would be greatly appreciated

I would start with a call to customer service.

There should be a forgot you password option, and it will send your password to your BB, using the Pin number.

Although Customer service will be able to reset that for you without a problem.

Cus service as in my provider Orange?

By the way, password keeper may be the most under rated app on the blackberry. With all the passwords we have nowadays, and the need to use complex passwords, it can be extremely helpful in situations like this where you create a password and then don't use it frequently. Make it a habit to put them all in password keeper. But don't forget that passord.

But Steve's idea is a good one. Go into the email setup app on the blackberry and look around. Is the a "forgot password" link? Likewise, you could go to your provider's BIS web portal and look for a password reset/resend link.

it says to send password but where does it send it too? Its not coming up anywhere but i have also forgotton my username so maybe this has an effect..ill ring orange and sort it that way.....thanks alot guys. x

I have no idea. Either it will come. In a PIN message, maybe SMS, or in an email if you had to provide a primary email address when you registered. If it doesn't come to the blackberry, then check any email addresses that you haven't added to BIS.

Should be a PIN to the BB (look in Messages). If you don't see anything you'll need to call your carrier to find out what your user name is.

Yep, a Pin Message in your Messages folders. As long it your Pin number was registered with BIS (Which is must have to receive email) it should find it's way to your BlackBerry.

The problem would be if you lost your BlackBerry AND forgot your BIS logon then it would definitely be a call to Support or alot of hard thinking lol
