Default Not sending with "Desktop", why?

Please Login to Remove!

On my device I have two mail folders, Messages and ***@gmail.com. All my BES mail goes to the Messages folder and my Gmail goes to both. When I open Messages and select "Compose Email" it opens up a new email that at the top says "Send Using: [Default]" If I compose an email and send it it shows up as from ***@gmail if I change it to "Send Using: Desktop" it goes through BES like it should. In options-email settings "Message Services" is set to Desktop.
In Options - Advanced Options - Default Services Messaging(CMIME) is set to Desktop. What am I missing? I want my default mail sent through BES not gmail but it seems like I have everything set correctly, no?

Thanks

Default

If for a contact the last email you sent was with gmail, it will send with gmail.
When it says default, it refers to the default last action you did with that contact.

Just like using the compose icon, when clicking on a contact, it will do the default action, which is the last used action.
