Default Changed to Verizon, have new Tour - should I change to Storm 2?

Please Login to Remove!

I just changed to Verizon due to AT&T's horrible network and calling issues. I was using a Bold on AT&T, but just changed to the Tour. Right after I got it, the Storm 2 came out. I didn't go with the Storm 1 as I had heard of the many issues with it.

The Tour is nice, but the screen is not as good as a Bold and neither is the keyboard. The device also seems slow. It ends up throwing up an hourglass while it is thinking quite a bit.

I haven't used a touch screen phone really to this point. I have messed around with an iPhone. I get the feeling that my typing would be better once I get used to it.

Does anyone have any opinions on the Storm 2 vs. the Tour? Do you think I would be happy with the change?

That contradicts itself, doesn't it?

The Storm2 typing is really nice, fast. I like it.

It does. That was a typo. My choices on Verizon were Tour or Storm 1. I chose Tour. I'm wondering if Storm 2 is a better choice. I had assumed that the Tour would be as good a device as the Bold and it is not. I like the Bold much better, but AT&T just led to calls dropped, calls failed, slow data, and a number of other calling issues.

Sorry for the confusion.

No problem, makes sense now.

if I were you I would go play with the Storm2 a while in the store. I'm on the 9520, same as the 9550, and it's a really nice device.
