So i tried to restore everything using the desktop manager however the desktop manager could not detect my BBB. any idea if how i could go about solving this? Really would apperciate the help.

New member. Check. Needs advice on how to restore a BlackBerry after a wipe. Check. BBB meaning verification completed. Check! :D

@freaker: Just kidding ya. Did you perform a backup before wiping the device? Then yes, you can restore it in DM.

Heys all.. yup i was referring to blackberry bold.
@Crunch: nope, i did not. currently the screen is showing me a white screen and it says Reload software:513.

And when i connect bold to DM, the DM couldn't detect my bold. is there other ways whereby i can reload the software?

I backed up my blackberry on my Mac and it produced a BBB file. I was hoping to access my contacts from this file and print out a list or a hardcopy phone directory. Does anyone know how to do this? In general, how do you open the BBB file on a Mac in some way that you can see the entries and even export them to some other application or export them, say in Excel?

Thank you.
