Hi there, had an issue doing the automatic software upgrade. Program backed up the phone, performed a wipe and then the software load had a fatal error. Result: white screen of death with message said reload software 507. Tech support at Nextel/Sprint told me to take it to the store and a helpful guy reloaded the thing with Desktop Manager 'Upgrade Software'. Only thing missing is my 'Downloaded Files' and my 'Games'. Folders are there, just empty. Are they gone for good or can I restore them somehow from the backup ?

Because the upgrade did not finish on your computer the application files may still be on your computer in a temp directory. Try searching your computer files/folders for a folder labeled with your pin number. Be sure and search in hidden and system files.

If you don't find anything then they are gone.
