Default laggy BBStorm

k, so i have the blackberry storm 9530 im having trouble something happened yesterday as soon as i got an sms, something troubleshooted, and now its all laggy, b4 i used to click the lock button and in no time i was replying the sms now i have to wait like 5 - 10 seconds for it to unlock and it gets kinda stuck sometimes. :S help =(

i'm sorry if someone had already posted this but im not gonna browse the 300sumthn pages for the answer (not much time on my hands ) i would really appreciate the help

i apologize for i'm ignorant yet, what do u mean by operating system build?

i use windows vista just in case that's what you mean

I don't blame you for not browsing 300+ pages.

Did you even read the first one page?

For now, look at your device > Options > About.
Third line down looks like v.4.7xxxx

What does yours say?

5.0 is the newest. you may was to try just resetting with a battery pull. have you downloaded any apps recently. you could also back up your info then wipe your handheld, but it will delete any 3rd party apps you installed. if all that does not fix it then getting it replaced will. you could also see how many sms or mms messages you have in there allong with email and all that stuff. you could just have allot or apps running or allot of unnecessary stuff taking up space. ..... just some info you can try out..
